Man found dead following house fire in Trimble County

Bedford, Ky. (WTVQ) – A house fire in Trimble County leaves one person dead.

Kentucky State Police say they received a 911 call about a house fire at 2096 Kidwell Pike at 6:09 a.m. Wednesday.

After the fire was put out, troopers say they found a man dead on the floor of the home.

The victim was later identified as 81-year-old James M. Drane of Bedford.

State police say foul play in not suspected.

The fire remains under investigation by the Kentucky State Police.
