Man found dead by river in Jessamine Co.

JESSAMINE COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) — Deputies are investigating after a man was found dead by a river in a wooded area in Jessamine County on Thursday.

The man’s body was found near Dix Drive and Lock 7 in Highbridge, according to the Jessamine County Sheriff’s Office.

The man had no identification on his person and now, deputies are asking for help identifying him.

He’s described as a white man, with a full white/gray beard and gray hair.

Deputies believe he’s between 50-70 years old. He has a thin build.

The man was wearing a navy blue jacket with eyeglasses in the front pocket, a black sweatshirt, several layers of thermals, two toboggans (one gray and one black), blue jeans and black tennis shoes.
