Man and estranged child’s mother found dead in Monticello

MONTICELLO, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police say a man and his estranged child’s mother are dead after he went to her apartment on Monday night.

Investigators say 30-year-old Christopher Polston entered 37-year-old Mandy Kinnett’s apartment in Wayne County.

After responding to a report of a shooting, investigators say they found Polston and Kinnett dead.

Their bodies were sent to the State Medical Examiner’s Office to determine a cause and manner of death.

Investigators say they don’t think anyone else was involved, so they are not looking for any other suspects.
