Man dies in Boyle County house fire

DANVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ)- Crews in Danville say a man was found dead after they put out a house fire Saturday morning.

The fire happened at a home on Perryville Road. Crews say passersby spotted the flames and alerted 911. When crews got on the scene, they say worked to put the fire out and while checking the scene, found a man dead in a first floor bedroom.

Boyle County Deputy Coroner Michael Wilder says the man has been identified as 62-year-old Justin Baker Young.

Crews say no firefighters were hurt but they treated a witness who tried to help for smoke inhalation.
