Man dies after being hit by two vehicles in Knox Co.

KNOX COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- Police say a Barbourville man was hit by two vehicles Sunday night near the entrance of Parkway Plaza on US 25E.

Investigators say 75-year-old James Morgan was trying to cross the highway when he was clipped by a side-view mirror of a passing SUV. That driver stopped and called for help, but police say Morgan was then hit by another vehicle.

Morgan died at the scene.
