Man dies after crashing into a tree over the weekend

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A man has died after crashing his vehicle into a tree on Sunday, according to the coroner.

The Fayette County Coroner says 35-year-old Brent Phipps died on Monday after hitting a tree on Bryan Station Road.

Officers say Phipps was not wearing a seat belt and it seems he didn’t hit the brakes.
