Man dies after home catches fire in Clay County

MANCHESTER, Ky. (AP) – An eastern Kentucky man has died after his home caught fire.

Clay County Coroner Danny Finley told media that 79-year-old Delmar Chester Edwards died in the blaze that started Thursday morning at the residence in the Burning Springs community near Jackson County.

Officials say the cause of the fire is under investigation.
