Man dead following single vehicle crash in Madison County

MADISON COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – According to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office, a man is dead following a single vehicle crash Tuesday.

The sheriff’s office says the victim was driving southbound on Battlefield Memorial Highway, north of Bighill, when he left road for unknown reasons. Eventually, his vehicle overturned and he was thrown from the vehicle.

Deputies say the victim was pronounced dead by coroner at the scene at 6:30 a.m. The victim’s identity is not being released at this time.
