Man critically injured after being hit by car

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A man was seriously injured after being hit by a car on a Lexington road.

It happened on North Broadway near the Thornton’s at around 10:45 p.m. Thursday.

Police say the man was crossing the street, but was not in the crosswalk when he was struck.

He was rushed to the hospital with critical injuries.

Police say the driver was not charged.
