Man charged with trying to lure 11-year-old for sex

PULASKI COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A 21-year-old Carthage, Tenn., man is arrested for trying to have sexual relations with an 11-year-old Kentucky girl.

According to Pulaski County Sheriff Greg Speck, Raven D. Allen was arrested this week following an investigation by Pulaski Det. Joey Johnson that began after a parent reported ‘Snap Chat’ conversations between their daughter and a man in Tennessee.

Johnson’s investigation revealed that since March, the man, later identified as Allen, had been requesting sexually explicit photos of the 11-year-old girls and asked her to meet him for sexual relations, the sheriff said.

Allen was arrested in Smith County, Tenn.

Allen is charged with illegal communication with a minor for sex offenses, distribution of obscene material to a minor, and promoting a minor under 16 for sex performance.

Allen was extradited from Tennessee and is being held on $7,500 bond. The investigation continues.
