Man Charged With Stabbing Boyle County Teen

A man is arrested after allegedly stabbing a teenager in Boyle County.

It happened at a home on Phillips Lane around 9 a.m. Wednesday.

Deputies say 33-year-old Everett Worthington forced his way into the home, looking for a family member he has been arguing with earlier in the day.

We’re told 19-year-old Darrell Alcorn-Junior stepped in to defend his family from Worthington.

The Sheriff’s Office says that’s when the two got into a fight and Alcorn was stabbed in the leg.

Worthington took off but was later found and arrested.

He is charged with burglary and assault.
