Man Charged With Murder After Clay County Accident

Troopers said Rodney Bowling of London crossed the center line in his SUV and hit a truck head-on, killing the driver, 50-year-old Ronnie Mitchell of Manchester.

Two passengers in Mitchell’s truck including one juvenile were airlifted to UK.

The murder charge came because troopers said Bowling was drunk. He also faces two assault charges and was taken to Clay County Detention Center.
