Man Charged With Attempted Murder

A man was charged with attempted murder after Kentucky State Police said they walked into a home to find him struggling with another man who had been shot.

 Police said they responded to reports of shots fired at a home on Littontown Road in East Bernstadt at 11:30 p.m.

 They said when they got to the home, they found 31-year-old William McDougall with a gunshot wound and struggling with 57-year-old Billy Mills.

  McDougall was flown to the University of Kentucky Medical Center.

 Mills was charged with attempted murder and burglary.
