Man charged with robbery of minor

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) — Lexington police have arrested a man after they say he robbed a teenage boy at gunpoint and pistol whipped him.

Police say Dakeyione Jackson held a 15-year-old at gunpoint and pistol whipped him, before stealing the boy’s backpack.

Jackson is also charged with burglary, after police say he broke into a home and stole an Xbox and $800 in cash.

Jackson is schedule to appear in court Thursday.
