UPDATE: Fayette murder, robbery suspect also wanted in Nicholasville, Danville that happened almost a year ago

NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – Nicholasville Police have charged at Fayette County man in connection with a robbery last week at the Circle K market.

A post on the department’s Facebook page outlines how several departments have worked together to file charges against 29-year-old David Sayre.

The post said: “After receiving several tips from the public, detectives were able to get a name of a person that may have been involved in the Circle K Robbery that took place on 6/25/20. Other police agencies in central KY were contacted as both Lexington and Danville had robberies that had similar description. A joint investigation was conducted and as a result of that investigation, we were able to obtain enough information and evidence to file for an arrest warrant for DAVID SAYRE of Lexington. SAYRE is currently lodged in the Fayette County Detention Center on multiple charges. Our agency is in the process of obtaining a warrant for Robbery in the 1st Degree. SAYRE will be charged with the Circle K Robbery as soon as the warrant is issued.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- A man is now facing charges in a Lexington homicide that happened just about a year ago.

Lexington Police say 29-year-old David Lee Sayre was arrested Wednesday.

He faces charges of murder and tampering with physical evidence for the death of 42-year-old Earl Parvin.

Parvin was found with a gunshot wound early in the morning on July 11th on Ballpark Drive.

Sayre also faces two counts of Robbery 1st charges in Lexington. He’s accused of robbing a tobacco shop June 25th and a gas station June 26th.
