LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Louisville Metro Police say they’ve charged a driver with manslaughter after a crash in which three people were killed.

Louisville Metro Police spokesman Dwight Mitchell told media that 33-year-old Nathan Browning also is facing charges of wanton endangerment and criminal mischief.

Witnesses told police the crash happened when a Chevrolet Suburban ran a red light Sunday evening and hit a Ford Contour.

Mitchell said Browning was driving the Suburban, and the three people in the Contour died at the scene.

Browning was taken to Metro Corrections. It wasn’t immediately clear whether he has an attorney.
