Man Charged In Connection To String Of Arsons
A man believed to be behind a string of arsons in west Lexington was charged with arson Monday.
45-year-old Ray Giattino was booked into the Fayette County Detention Center and charged with first-degree arson.
Firefighters said three dumpsters, a vehicle, a shed and a cottage that was part of a residential care facility were all set on fire back in May.
The fires all happened in the Hill Rise Drive area.
Giattino was taken into custody last week but was under evaluation.
