Man Charged In Connection To 2011 Kidnapping

A man has been charged in connection to a kidnapping that happened in 2011.

According to a police citation, Jose Ramirez and another man kidnapped a woman after she approached the van they were in on Winchester and Seventh Street.

Police said Ramirez drove the van around while his accomplice raped the woman.

The victim managed to escape by leaping from the moving van.

Ramirez’s accomplice was later caught and charged with kidnapping and rape.
