Man calls police to report a crime and ends up arrested

(LEXINGTON, Ky.) – Lexington Police say they responded to a shots fired call in the 3600 block of Appian Way just after 10 p.m Monday.

Investigators say they didn’t see anyone injured or property damage. Police say they did find a person who claimed to be the victim. Authorities say the man had a warrant and was in possession of marijuana and was arrested.

Police say the alleged victim is not cooperating with their investigation and they do not have a description of the shooting suspect.
