Man Badly Hurt In ATV Crash Near National Forest

A man is seriously injured after an ATV accident near Daniel Boone National Forest.

Kentucky State Police said the call came in around 10:15 Thursday night. A man was on an ATV on happy top road at the Jackson and Estill County line when he hit a tree.

Troopers described his injuries as life-threatening. He was flown to a hospital with head injuries

KSP says he wasn’t wearing a helmet when he crashed the ATV.
