Man attempts to rob Hampton Inn

DANVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) — According to Danville police, an armed man was startled out of a robbery on September 5.

At approximately 11:50 p.m., police say a man entered Hampton Inn and demanded cash, wielding a handgun. A second employee entered the scene shortly after, startling the suspect into running away without a penny.

Described as a white male wearing black pants and a black “hoodie-type top,” Police say he was wearing a blue bandanna over his face, and was still armed when he left the scene.
