Man arrested after weekend stabbing

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Lexington Police arrested a man Saturday after being called to a home on Walhampton Drive.

Police say that when they arrived, a person with a stab wound to the chest told them they had been stabbed by Derrick Palmer.

Palmer was found inside the home. He is charged with assault.

Palmer was arrested and is due in court Monday.
