Police: man arrested for threatening Danville school

DANVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – Some schools in Danville were forced to go into lockdown Friday morning while police searched for someone they say made vague threats against a school.

Danville Police say 24-year-old Christian Persico was threatening a local school and wanted cops to kill him.

They were also told he was armed with a gun and a knife, according to police.

Boyle County High School, Boyle County Middle School and Woodlawn Elementary School all went on lockdown while police searched for Persico.

Police tracked him down at a Toco Bell and say after a brief struggle with officers he was arrested.
