Man arrested for social media threats against Union College
KNOX COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) — The Knox County Sheriff’s Office says they have arrested a man who made social media threats against students and staff at Union College.
20-year-old Alexander Anderson, from South Carolina, is charged with terroristic threatening, after deputies say he threatened violence against the college.
They say he also tried to provoke deputies into a fight during his arrest, saying “Everyone in Knox County is racist.”
They say he is currently on house arrest.
Anderson’s arraignment is scheduled for April 2nd at 9 a.m.
