Man arrested on arson charge
LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A Laurel County man is in custody after deputies say he set fire to a mattress inside a woman’s home.
According to the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office, 27-year-old Jacob Hurley of London was arrested Tuesday afternoon around 4:15 p.m. Investigators say the victim was able to throw the burning mattress outside, preventing the fire from spreading through the residence.
