Man arrested for Lexington auto shop robbery
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) — Police have arrested a man they say broke into a Lexington auto shop, stole from a car, and threatened an employee with a knife.
According to police, 39-year-old Danny Gullett snuck through a hole in the fence and onto the lot of Guerrero Auto Shop on Luigart Court late Wednesday night.
They say an employee saw him going through a car parked on the lot and confronted him.
They say Gullett pulled out a knife and swung at the employee, before running off with items from the car.
He will appear in court on a robbery charge Thursday.
