Man arrested for firing shots at Stanford police, crashing into cruiser

STANDFORD, Ky. (WTVQ) — A man was arrested on Sunday, after crashing into the front of a police cruiser the previous night.

Lincoln County’s Interior Journal reports 32-year-old Jasper Mccann was pursued by Stanford Police, leading a chase down a one-lane gravel road. 

The Journal said he turned around and collided with a stationary police cruiser head-on, then fired shots at officers before fleeing.
