Man arrested following stabbing in Lexington
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police say two men got into a fight that ended in a stabbing that sent one man to the hospital and the other to jail.
It happened Monday around 6:30 p.m. on East Fifth Street, according to police.
Investigators say 65-year old Jesse Ross got into an argument with another man he knows and stabbed the man in the ribs with a small knife.
Ross was arrested and charged with Assault 2nd Degree.
The stabbing victim, whose name wasn’t released, was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to police.
Ross was lodged in the Fayette County Detention Center.
