Man arrested after disturbance at fire house in Bell County

BELL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – In Bell County, a man is arrested after causing an early morning disturbance at a fire house, that’s according to the Bell County Sheriff’s Department.

Deputies say a call came in around 12:30 a.m. Sunday from Fire Chief Tony Dye of the Bell County Volunteer Fire Department.

According to the sheriff’s department, Dye said an individual was causing a scene at the fire headquarters off Highway 119.

Deputies say once they got there, they found 22-year-old Jacolby Zachary of Middlesboro involved in a verbal altercation with several members of the fire department.

After gaining control of the situation, deputies say Zachary continued to instigate an already tense situation refusing to follow verbal commands.

Zachary was arrested and booked in the Bell County Detention Center. Deputies say he’s charged with disorderly conduct 2nd degree and is being held on a $10,000 cash bond.
