Man arrested in connection to Transy Campus Cafe burglary

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- A man has been arrested in connection to a burglary at the Transylvania University Campus Center Cafe.

The arrest citation says Billy Jo Benney was caught on surveillance camera forcing his way into coolers and freezers. The citation also says missing food products were taken along with a large knife.

Police identified Benney as the person in the surveillance video and arrested him Thursday on Versailles Road.They say he is charged with burglary.
