Man arrested for child porn at UK library

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A call from a company leads to a child pornography arrest at a University of Kentucky library.

The call was made to the University of Kentucky Police Department on Tuesday afternoon.

RICOH, the company that provides printing and copying services for students at the university, called to say someone was actively printing child pornography on the second floor of the W.T. Young library.

The company also said the person was in the reference area and gave the printing card number being used.

Court documents say officers with UKPD went to that location, where they found 49-year-old Theodore Fallis in front of a computer.

They told him about their investigation and he gave them his printing card, which matched the number RICOH gave, according to court documents.

Documents go on to say Fallis got up and said he had to leave and the officers noticed a stack of papers containing images of child pornography next to the computer.

He was taken into custody and charged with possession of child pornography.
