Man arrested, accused of firing gun in Richmond bar

RICHMOND, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police say they have arrested a man who pulled a gun in a Richmond bar and fired at a group of people.

Richmond police say someone walked into the Copper Still bar on Water Street back on April 2nd just after 1 a.m. and pulled a gun from his waistband, pointed at a group of people then fired.

Police say 20 people were in the room at the time.

On Thursday, police say they took 29-year-old Joseph Conley into custody.

He is charged with 20-counts of wanton endangerment.

Police also say Conley didn’t have a concealed carry permit.

He is currently in the Madison County Detention Center.
