Man accused of tying up, shooting another man in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A man is in custody after police say he shot someone in the arm in Lexington on Wednesday night.

According to court documents, 18-year-old Richard L. Brown had a gun when he forced his way into an apartment on Hacker Court.

Documents say, once inside, Brown tied up a man then shot him in the arm.

The court records say Brown ran off, but was caught a short time later after a chase with Lexington police officers.

Police say Brown admitted to the shooting.

He is charged with assault and burglary.
