Man accused of stealing truck, kidnapping woman near Lexington Jif Plant

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- In Lexington, police say a man stole a truck and kidnapped a woman near the Jif plant Friday night.

According to officers, 29-year-old Raymond Stansell stole a pickup truck from the plant’s parking lot and drove it through a gate, creating more than $1,000 dollars in damage.

Stansell is also accused of kidnapping a woman while stealing the truck.

He is in jail, facing charges for kidnapping, criminal mischief, and theft of an auto.
