Man accused of stealing trailer from Jessamine County farm

NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – An alert Jessamine County Sheriff’s deputy spotted a trailer being pulled on U.S. 27 that had been reported stolen from a farm.

Investigators say the deputy pulled the driver over and arrested him for receiving stolen property.

The driver was identified as 32-year old Gary Ingram.

Investigators say Ingram went to the farm, hitched-up the trailer and simply drove off.  Deputies say there are a lot of contract workers constantly coming and going from the farm, so it didn’t look suspicious or out of the ordinary for someone to hook-up a trailer and drive off.
