Man accused of shooting, killing family member in Carter County

CARTER COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- A man is accused of killing a family member in Carter County.

State Police say just before 2 a.m. Sunday troopers were called to a home on Rocky Lane.

Their initial investigation accuses 28-year-old Matthew Kelley of shooting and killing his grandfather-in-law, 81-year-old Bradley Duncan, from Olive Hill.

Kelley is behind bars facing murder charges.
