Man accused of robbing woman at knifepoint in Pikeville

PIKEVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – An Elkhorn City man was arrested Wednesday morning after police say he tried to rob a woman at knifepoint in Bob Amos Park in Pikeville.

Investigators say the woman was able to get away from 23-year old Troy Scarberry and call police.

He was arrested a short time later and charged with robbery.
