Man accused of recording people in public library bathroom

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A man is arrested after police say he was secretly recording people in a public restroom.

Court documents say 56-year-old Freddie Gillis was taken into custody Wednesday and charged with video voyeurism.

He’s accused of using a cellphone to take video of people using the men’s restroom in the Beaumont branch of the Lexington Public Library.

He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing in Fayette District Court on September 23.
