Man Accused Of Murdering Jessamine Co. Inmate
Troopers said a man was charged with murder in the death of a Jessamine County inmate.
According to State Police, inmate Corey McQueary, 33, was found unresponsive Thursday afternoon at the jail.
He was taken to a local hospital and was later pronounced dead by the Jessamine County Coroner.
Troopers said Michael Jones, 55, smuggled a drug into the detention center and gave it to McQueary.
Jones was charged with murder, promoting contraband and possession of a controlled substance.
