ROCKCASTLE COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — The man accused in the kidnapping of a Rockcastle County teenager is scheduled to appear in court Monday.

Jail records show 37-year-old Christian Delgado is due in court as he faces charges connected to the alleged kidnapping of 13-year-old Wynter Wagoner.

As previously reported, Wynter was reported missing in October from a foster home in Rockcastle County. Authorities say she was later found safe at a home in Maryland in late December.

According to officials, Wynter was located after she contacted her aunt and told her where she and Delgado were staying. Police were then able to track down the location and take Delgado into custody.

An arrest complaint states that Wynter and Delgado allegedly met online.

Officials say Delgado was brought back to Kentucky last Thursday. Jail records show he is currently being held on a $1 million bond.
