Man Accused In Attempted Kidnapping Goes Before Judge
A man accused of trying to kidnap two girls in Winchester was arraigned Tuesday in Clark County.
Police said Thomas Hamilton, 68, stopped his truck last Saturday and told the victims to get in.
According to court documents, the 12-year-old girl and 13-year-old girl were at the corner of Lincoln Street and Hickman Street when it happened.
Police said the two girls instead ran off.
Officers said when they found Hamilton and his truck, there were two ropes, a steak knife, and some plastic sheeting in the vehicle.
