Man accused of attacking child arrested in Knox Co.

KNOX COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- A man accused of attacking a child and firing a gun inside a home has been arrested in Knox County.

Deputies say Travis Marcun is accused of assaulting a 10-year-old child in October and breaking in to a home on Callebs Creek in November, and firing a gun inside.

Deputies say he also hit someone with the gun.

Investigators say when they arrested him, he had a small plastic bag of suspected meth and two syringes.
