Man accused of assaulting woman during dispute

LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A man was arrested in Laurel County after being accused of assaulting a woman during a dispute off White Oak Road, according to deputies.

Investigators say 38-year old Gary Grimes, of Redfox, shoved a woman against a door and lattice on a front porch, causing cuts, scrapes and bruising to her arm.

Grimes was arrested on a 4th Degree Assault charge and taken to jail, according to deputies.
