1,671 caring kids stepped up by registering to have a LemonAiD stand during the month of July.
On Thursday, July 31 the Salvation Army will celebrate these thoughtful kids with a fundraising Finale celebration at the Fayette Mall parking lot (corner of Nicholasville & Reynolds Rd) from 4 – 6:30 pm.
During the Finale, children will pour all of their lemonade sale donations into The Salvation Army’s giant Kettle. The Salvation Army will use these donations to provide for the needs of children staying in its homeless shelter.
A large area will be set up with various stations for families to visit. The Finale will include music, and children will receive a free t-shirt and food.
