BROOKLYN, N.Y. (ABC36 NEWS NOW)- Kentucky commit Malachi Moreno will represent a family who have benefitted from staying the Ronald McDonald House in Lexington when he laces up for the McDonald’s All American Game on April 1.

During shoot-around, Moreno will wear a custom Ronald McDonald House Charities branded shoe tag featuring the Travis family’s name and after the game the tags with his autograph will be gifted to the family.

Parents John and Rachel Travis have been relying on the RMHC’s support after their son Memphis was born prematurely at just over 25 weeks. They have been living in the home away from home with their two other children, Aubrey and Ava, as well.

Memphis spent four months in the NICU at UK HealthCare’s Kentucky Children’s Hospital during which the Travis family stayed at the RMHC of the Bluegrass.
