Mail truck goes up in flames

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – People in a Lexington neighborhood didn’t get their mail today, but it wasn’t because of the weather or slick roads.  It was because a postal delivery truck went up in flames Monday afternoon.

Firefighters say it happened on Dale Hollow Dr. and Beshear Ct. around 3:15 p.m.  The fire department says the driver got out safely, but by the time they got there the truck was a total loss.

No word yet on what started the fire.
