Madison County man facing kidnapping charges

RICHMOND, Ky. (WTVQ)-In Madison County, a Richmond man is facing charges for reportedly kidnapping his roommate’s child.

The Richmond register reports a woman claims 22-year-old Jason Knight ran away with her child.

According to the paper, police say the woman told them Knight first locked himself in the bathroom with the child.

Police were able to safely reunite child and mother.
