Madison Co. Sheriff investigating “smash and grab” robbery at Dollar General
RICHMOND, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Madison Co. Sheriff hopes that surveillance footage will help identify two people who broke into the Dollar General on Boonesboro Road early Thursday morning.
According to the Sheriff, two men broke the lower window of the front door to get into the business. This was just before 5:00 a.m. After getting into the store, the men broke the glass on a display case and stole cigarettes, along with other items.
The first man in the store was wearing red pants, a red hooded sweat shirt, tennis shoes and a red bandana over his face. The second man was wearing blue jeans, a blue hooded sweat shirt, tennis shoes and a blue bandana over his face. Both men appeared to be wearing gloves.
