The Lyric Theatre – East End Exploration Tour

The Lyric Theatre presents “East End Explorations”, a free bus tour of Lexington’s historic east end, led by local historian Yvonne Giles.

Inspired by our original series East End Walking Tours, The Lyric wanted to start a program that would show off the rich, diverse history of our beloved neighborhood with all the comfort and experience possible. Enjoy this FREE series and hear the unsung stories of the famed occupants, historical events, and special landmarks that make the neighborhood such a unique location, all told by lifelong resident and local historian Yvonne Giles.

Tours will occur on July 15th, August 19th, September 16th, and October 21st, 8:30 am – 10:30 am

Participants will meet at The Lyric and the bus tour will commence from there.

This series is FREE and open to the public, but registration is required. 30 positions are available for each tour. Registration can be completed by calling (859) 280-2218 or register online by clicking this link.
