New Lyle’s BBQ Location in Fayette Mall

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Fayette Mall Food Court is welcoming it’s newest restaurant, Lyle’s BBQ.  Lyle’s BBQ started over four years ago as a food tent and opened up in Nicholasville about a year and a half later.  Then they relocated to the Stonewall Shopping Center over a year ago. They recently found the Fayette Mall location and thought it would be a great way to give the Fayette Mall a more local feel.

Lyle’s BBQ serves traditional BBQ with a modern twist including smoked pulled pork, brisket, chicken, brisket burnt ends and pork belly burnt ends every single day fresh. Plus their homemade sides, like smoked mac n’ cheese, hash brown casserole and Granny Smith coleslaw are sure to leave you happy! Lyle’s believes that great BBQ takes time! Smoking BBQ is a low and slow process. Meats like pulled pork and brisket take the restuarant over 12 hours to smoke. That means sometimes they even sell out early! 

In addition, The Lyles family served 25+ years combined in the United States Air Force. They began to chase the American Dream by selling BBQ on the side of the road out of tent. The mall location will be considered an express location, therefore the entire menu won’t be available.  However, fan favorites like the loaded bake potato and nachos will be offered with pulled pork, chicken, or brisket. Stop by the Fayette Mall Food Court to try some amazing, local barbecue with Lyle’s BBQ!
